Costumer service IS BAD! The only mistake I made was coming here! Never again, go elsewhere!

Outstanding food and service, I can't make this up! I literally love the workers and the service is quick. I can't tell you how thankful I am for this restaurant.

I had Mandoo Soup here and it was delicious. It came with banchan. The Mandoo were huge!

Great jjajjamin and s/s pork . Clean, friendly restaurant. Parking maybe right at times but good food at reasonable prices and filling portions, I always leave so full!!

Good cheap food!

I love the foods; However one particular waitress isn't friendly at all. Several times I visited the restaurant, she ordered me to sit somewhere else. Bad customer service. A customer should be able to choose where to sit especially there is NO SIGN WAIT TO BE SEATED.

Enjoy their tofu soup. While prices have gone up, it's still worth the cost as the meal comes with at least for side dishes. I went alone as whether one or four dining, the same number of side dishes come out. Going alone means u get it all to yourself. Food is delicious and wow it comes out so quickly. Service has always been friendly. Parking is sometimes a problem but one can always park at ala Moana and wall over. Better yet, have a few beers at shirokiya and then eat at Cho dang.

I've been coming here for years! I absolutely love the food here. This is one of my favorite places for soon do boo, it comes boiling hot, tastes so home made, I can't find anywhere that does it quite as well. I bring friends and close family here and sometimes the occasional date. It's comfy and has an easy going atmosphere.

No better value for Korean food. My wife and I order a soondubu and meat jun and share.

An inexpensive Korean place in a corner of a strip mall with cla selection of conventional Korean meals. You get what you pay for. All-day specials are supposed to be smaller portions than the usual but we found them to be more than sufficient for us (for lunch).

For the price, service, quickness. This is the place to go when you are hungry late at night. Their Meat Jun is super good. I like how they give out sides even during lunch.I used to come here twice a week when I was living in town. The price is just unbeatable. Sometimes gets really busy but have never had to wait super long.

Best tteokbokki I have had ever!!! The prices were great and the portion size was huge. I meant to take pictures but I ate it to fast. I cant wait to go back for more authentic food when I get back over to oahu.

Happy hour...more like happy day as it lasts most of the day. I always get their meat jun as you get a lot and it taste amazing. Good food and great price. Parking may be hard but you could park in alas and walk there as well.

The waiter raised her tone on us for some reason, and this is not the first time it happened. The service is not that good. This one star is for their service

Food is good. The place is a little too hot in the afternoon, there was not much sunshade to shield the place during this time, plus AC is only from one direction. A little slow in service.Recommend the food.

Great little Korean restaurant located outside of Ala Moana Shopping Mall. They open very late, to around 2 AM, and their food is cheap, especially after 10 PM while ordering on the happy hour specials posted on the front of their menu. Be careful when ordering the tofu soup, though, because the heat can really build on you! I enjoy ordering their meat-jun or their bibimbap, since it is cheap and plentiful This is a great restaurant for late night eating!

I have no idea what people's problem is with this place. Very nice service. Great food. Great price. Very tasty. This is my friends favorite Korean place on the island, he comes here all the time. Check it out.

One of the best Korean places in Honolulu. Very good kimchi. It just has a nice flavor. I love their selection of side dishes. They switch it up, so it's not always the same thing, but it's always delicious. Excellent yukkejang, bibimbap, meat jun, and a seriously delectable kimchi pancake. On top of it all, they always have their daily specials, many for only $8.50, which is a pretty incredible deal. And they're open until 1 a.m. Chodang rocks.

I love korean food. The side dish will keep us busy while we wait for the entree. Cho Dang has some great food. They are always very accommodating and don't mind our messy kids. We usually order the seafood pancake, spicy tofu soup, chap chae noodles, oyster jun, butterfish, and.or Kalbi. The cold noodle is awesome too.

Great tofu soup!

Great quality food. Absolutely delicious. Fast and friendly service. It’s a small place, but they have a good menu with a lot of selection. The prices are reasonable. All in all this is a great spot to drop in for fantastic Korean food. The spicy chicken was awesome.

Great foods, great price and nice service. I didn't see anything bad about this place. Worth to check it out.

Bad staff, not so good food

Food was excellent for the price and environment was comfortable with friends. Server was not the nicest but price of meal made up for it.

Definitely looks hotter than it is. It’s just the right amount of Hotness in this beef soup (Yukhaejang). The meat Jun is also great and just the right amount of meat vs egg batter. The sauce was a little sweet but bearable. The waitress is nice and the seating is plentiful. Parking is out front and if you go late when everything else is closed then you will have no problem. gomabseubnida

The ham to dry and hard and very rubbery

Very friendly Korean Aunties running the place. Food was excellent. Served up hot and fresh. Parking lot is a bit of a challenge based on location and number of stalls competing with neighboring businesses.

Reasonably priced Korean food. I always come for the soon du bu (soft tofu soup)... served to you in bubbling with a side bowl of rice and veggies. You can ask for an egg inside or spicier with no extra cost. Hubby always eats the meat jun (thinly sliced beef coated with sweet egg and pan fried)... large portion that is also served with rice and veggies.
